“La Muraglia” is situated in a central position as regards several interesting places to visit, it offers, at the same time, the peace of the country and the pleasure of the beach: infact the beaches of our litoral are fantastic, they have gold finest sands and clean and calm sea.

The “Castle of Donnafugata”is ten minutes far from us, and it represents one of the most important summer residence of sicilian nobility in the XIX century. The castle has a Gothic style and it has a late romantic park too.


Marina di Ragusa is ten minutes far from us and it is the most popular and equipped sea town in our province and in South-East of Sicily. There are shops, pubs, and disco. It is the ideal place for an amusing summer holiday.


A few kilometers from Ragusa is situated “ Ragusa Ibla” the ancient part of the town. It is considered a treasure to admire and above all to preserve, not only for the historic value of churches and of palaces of nobility, but also for the great success that Ibla is meeting in visitors. Ragusa Ibla was declared from UNESCO world property.


Pozzallo, forty minutes far from us, is the only sea town of the province on the seashore. It has wonderful and busy beaches. It is very interesting the tower built by the earl of Cabrera to defend the town against pirates. From the seaport everyday there are boats directed to Malta, Lampedusa, and Isola dei Porri.


Modica, twenty minutes far from us, is one of the most picturesque town of the province and of the Sicily. The appearance of the town is late Baroque and dates back after the heartquake of the 1693, picturesque lanes, streets full of shops , little houses and sumptuosus palaces make Modica unique and charming.
Very important are the beautiful churches of St.George dates back of Middle Age, the church of Carmine, St. Mary of Bethlem, St.Peter and others to find out and visit.
